pH is a tricky balance, but it’s all-important. A solution that is too alkaline can “lock out” nutrients, making them unavailable to plants even if they’re right there in the soil. It’s a common cause of iron deficiency (which can turn plants pale or yellow) and calcium deficiency (where leaf tips appear burned).

How to use Plagron Lemon Kick?

Plagron Lemon Kick should be used with care. Apply in small doses; mix well and measure the pH before adding any more.

Shake well before use and dilute at a rate of 0.5ml per litre of water. Gradually add more, mixing well and waiting a few moments before checking the pH again. Using a pH meter (like the Grow Gadgets pH Pro Meter) is the easiest way to do this.

Once the pH reaches levels between 5.5 and 6.5, the nutrient solution is ready to use.
